Almost the entire territory of Ukraine announced the highest level (grade 5) fire danger, which will last until 22 August 2017.
This reports the press center of the State service for emergency situations Sunday, August 20.
“According to Ukrgidromettsentra, until August 22 on the territory of Ukraine, except Odessa and Transcarpathian regions, will remain extreme fire danger class 5. Such a disappointing forecast creates the preconditions for a dramatic increase in the number of ignitions in the territory of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
According to rescuers, the causes of large-scale fires in natural ecosystems are often the consequences of human carelessness. So, over the past day in Ukraine were 555 ignitions in open territories.
In gschs warned that the threat of fire will continue to grow, therefore, urged citizens not to provoke fires in open territories and to observe elementary safety rules during the stay in natural ecosystems.
