The President is confident that the people will not be upset if the membership will not.
The majority of Turkish citizens do not want a full-scale entry into the European Union. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to him, the Turks “do not want the EU” and I believe that the European Union’s unfair attitude towards Turkey.
“We are true to our word. If the EU is right to say that he will not be able to accept Turkey into the EU, we can work with this. We are relaxed,” added the Turkish President, noting that Turkey “is able to stand on two feet.”
