Turkey decided to temporarily release approximately 90 thousand prisoners in connection with the spread of the coronavirus. The corresponding decree was adopted by the Parliament of the country, reports RIA “Novosti”.
From places of deprivation of liberty will be temporarily released those who were serving sentences for minor crimes in the colonies. They will hold on the liberty a month and a half, until may 31, and then will have to return to serve his sentence.
In the judgment of the Parliament stated that if the spread of the coronavirus is retained, the period of stay of prisoners on the loose can be extended.
