In Zhitomir on Friday, October 27, set a record of Ukraine on preparation of the long kebab. The kebab weighing more than 320 kg roasted on the grill with a length of almost a quarter of a kilometer.
“We are talking about the record – the longest in Ukraine and the world barbecue on the grill!”,- wrote on his page in Facebook the head of the National registry of records of Ukraine Lana Vetrova.
Representatives of the National register of records recorded a new achievement – and awarded the winners the appropriate certificate confirming the record.
The previous national record belonged to a resident of Ternopil Igor Pariah. 6 Jun 2014 during the ethno-gastronomic festival “Galician defilyada” was born a new record – length barbecue 210,6 meters. An independent expert restaurateur meticulously checked the barbecue at the ready, taking a sample of the meat every 20 meters along the entire length of the skewer.
