During the renovation of urban heating in the winery unearthed century-old safe with a combination.

Initially, local archaeologists said that the discovery is a German, but later historians have refuted this information.

As told in the Vinnytsia regional Museum of local lore opened the safe and found documents. “The safe was not watertight and so the paper documents it is seriously damaged. Documents are not German and not Polish. There is an assumption that the documents belonged to one of the local factories,” – said researcher of the regional Museum Paul Madonik.

“This thing is the beginning of the XX century, the safe was made in Warsaw, but was obviously in use at one of the local offices. Perhaps it was used and construction management. According to historians, the safe will remain in the winery and will be the showpiece of the Museum.
