In the US, told how the negotiations with the DPRK

The two countries communicate directly.

Washington made direct contact with North Korea, confirmed U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson. According to him, Washington is sounding out the possibility of talks with Pyongyang.

“Follow the news. We have communication channels. We are not sitting in the dark,” said Tillerson during his visit to China.

It is noted that over the past few months the US and North Korea were regularly exchanged mutual accusations and threats, but until now little was known about the fact that they have direct channels of communication.

Rex Tillerson arrived in Beijing for a meeting with the leader of China, XI Jinping and other government representatives in the hope of persuading Beijing to implement the sanctions regime against North Korea.

According to the Associated Press that the U.S. and North Korea for several months without much noise and support contacts.

It is assumed that the US special representative on North Korean issues met regularly with some high-ranking North Korean diplomat to the building is representative of this country at the UN.

Until now it was known that Sweden often acts as a mediator in talks between Washington and Pyongyang.

This time the restrictions from the White house addressed the North Korean banks and financial representatives Pyongyang abroad.

Ocherednye US sanctions aimed at the financial sector of the DPRK. Restrictions affected eight banks and 26 citizens of North Korea, representing financial institutions in Pyongyang China, Russia, Libya and the UAE.
