In the United States has threatened to shoot down Russian planes over Syria

Russian planes interfere with the U.S. military.

The representative of the Central command air forces United States Damian pickart does not exclude that the American military will have to shoot down Russian planes if they threaten the forces fighting with ISIS in Syria.

“The biggest problem is that we have to shoot down Russian planes due to the fact that their actions will be seen as a threat to our air or ground troops,” said the American Colonel.

However, he recalled the words of the leaders of the coalition that the military are in Syria to fight ISIS, not the Russian.

“At the end of November, we observed daily from six to eight incidents in which Russian or Syrian planes crossed our airspace on the Eastern side of the Euphrates river. Over the last week the intensity of incidents has slightly decreased, but the frequency of meetings remained a cause for concern,” said pickart, noting that the situation is discussed daily between the US and Russia.

The military also said that the majority of incidents involving Russian aircraft were observed in the airspace above the river valley of the Middle Euphrates between the Syrian city Mayadin and the Iraqi border. In the area of the Syrian democratic forces and the government forces in Iraq are fighting the remnants of ISIS.

According to Pikart, American pilots often difficult to understand whether the actions of the Russians by mistake or intentional actions.
