In the United States found a new way of combating the influence of Russia

Under funding of the Pentagon established a ban on support for the Russian annexation of Crimea, the recognition of Russian sovereignty over the Crimea and support of American investments in the Crimea.

The bill contains provisions on the financing of anti-terrorism and combating weapons of mass destruction. Also notes the need for “more scrutiny of Russian actions, including the influence of Russia and its fulfillment of the terms of the open skies agreement”.

In section 5, entitled “Matters relating to foreign countries” we’re talking about the influence of Russia in the “peoples and governments”. Here are the possible forms of Russian influence, as the creation of front organizations, the manipulation of the media, disinformation, financing agents of influence, provocation, violations of human rights, corruption, killings of political opponents and attacks.

In the section on financing of the Ministry of defense, says that its funds can’t be used on any action contributing to the support of the Russian annexation of the Crimea, the recognition of Russian sovereignty over the Crimea and the support of the American investment in the Crimea.

In addition, the US administration is forbidden to support any country in the world that recognizes the independence of the Georgian regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

The document also provides for the counteraction to terrorist attacks and fight the terrorists in Iraq, Syria, North Africa and other countries. Funding is allocated for programs in the U.S., responding to threats in cyberspace, in outer space and under the sea.

The document is awaiting the approval of the Senate and the President of the United States Donald Trump.
