This decision was made after a misunderstanding with the planned controversial concert of Sergey Babkin
This decision was made by members of the constant Deputy Commission on questions of spirituality, culture, freedom of speech, information and civil society development of the Ternopil regional Council. Members of the Commission pointed out the flaws to the Director of the regional drama theater Boris the turnip that he promptly responded to the emergence of posters in Ternopil, which for several weeks was reported to hold a concert theatre actor Sergey Babkin, who played in Russia and Crimea.
To prevent in future any such misunderstandings, the members of the Commission decided to impose a ban on touring artists, who are touring in Russia or in the occupied territories.
In particular, prohibited the holding of concerts and other entertainment events in the regional municipal institutions and in the territory of area organizations and individuals for theatrical and concert activities, which operate, concerts, tours, take part in various entertainment activities on the territory of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war
