Popular messenger Telegram in the latest version 4.2 has received self-destructing photos and videos, as well as a number of other innovations, as stated in the official blog of the service.
It is reported that self-destructing messages are available to the user a limited amount of time, and then forever disappear.
Another innovation was the involvement of the CDN network (Content Delivery Network, content delivery network) for caching files transferred in public chat rooms and channels. This should increase the speed of downloading on devices.
The developers emphasize that the CDN network will be used only for storage of public files and it does not apply to personal and private chats.
However, even in this case, the CDN provider will need a special key to get access to information.
