In one of the schools in the city Train received a complaint about a teacher of Russian language and literature for the fact that she showed the pupils of the 8th class the horror movie “It” Director andrés, Moschetti. After that, the woman apparently forced to write a letter of resignation.

As they say, the children begged her to arrange the showing of this film in the classroom, and the teacher went to meet them. On the one hand, the rating is 18+ as it suggests that the idea is not the best, but what is there to that? Besides, we are talking about the film adaptation of Stephen king, world-renowned writer. And agree, the book is perfect for Teens, good main characters in her children. As the literary source, the film raises themes of friendship, growing up, intolerance, misunderstanding on the part of parents. Of course, all this casual but useful message there, definitely there.

I am glad that the teacher stood up a children’s Ombudsman in Moscow region Ksenia Mironova. According to her, restriction of 18+ is more of a recommendation, and the teacher may, under their own responsibility to show this movie to students.

I do not blame the teacher from the heading, which showed the film “It” students of the eighth grade. I think she wanted a way to find contact with children, to show that they have common interests. I myself love Stephen king. My friend, journalist and film critic Anton Dolin said that this film is very suitable for this age.

In addition, Mironova believes that the teacher is nothing left, no repression against it will not, and in any case, she quickly finds a new job. Well, we, unfortunately, do not know because the name of the teacher in the media is not called.

And I was tormented by one question… it Turns out, they are there to lesson, a pirated version of the film watched? Lousy screener? Or with the horrible sound, recorded in the cinema? Perhaps with the help of the characters? Hell, I’m not sure it was worth it.
