In September on the account in the employment Center were more than 300 thousand Ukrainians.
In Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation) in September 2017, the unemployment rate compared to the previous month, has slightly decreased and amounted to 1.2%. According to the State statistics service of Ukraine (gosstat).
In September 2017 in the State employment service had registered 303 thousand unemployed (against 311,9 thousand a month earlier). Thus, the number of unemployed decreased by 8.9 thousand people.
While 237,8 thousand people registered as unemployed received unemployment benefits.
The average benefit per unemployed in September 2017 amounted to 2 thousand 33 UAH, 25 UAH less than in August.
Among the urban population was 183,6 thousand unemployed, among rural – 119.4 thousand With females was 171,9 thousand unemployed, among men – 131,1 thousand
Recall that the unemployment rate in Ukraine in August also declined slightly – by 8 thousand people.
