In the port of South came fifth this year, a ship with 75 thousand tons of anthracite from South Africa to Pridneprovskaya and Krivorozhskaya TPP. About it reports a press-service of the company DTEK Energy.
According to her, now in this port simultaneously unloads two bulk carrier with anthracite that will allow you to accumulate resource on TES for the stable operation during the heating season.
The process of unloading the ship MIN SHENG 1 will take roughly three days. The bulk carrier Semiramis with 80 tons of anthracite, arrived in the southern September 17 at 8:00 on Tuesday unloaded by 85%.
“In October we expect to arrive in Ukraine for another 150 thousand tonnes of South African coal in order to create the necessary reserves of a resource in the warehouses of our thermal power plants in anticipation of the heating season”, – said the commercial Director of DTEK Energy Vitaly Butenko.
Only in the framework of the contract, DTEK has imported to Ukraine 375 thousand tons of anthracite from South Africa.
