An interesting natural phenomenon can watch the people of Albion.
Monday, 8 August, in the West of great Britain, residents of Bristol, Taunton and IATA observed a rare atmospheric phenomenon, an optical illusion known as the pink rainbow. Witnesses have described a rainbow as an amazing and very nice.
This phenomenon is not a special name. The phenomenon occurs when a rainbow appears in rays of the setting sun, giving it an unusual shade of pink.
“This is a typical rainbow caused by the scattering of sunlight in the water droplets in the atmosphere, refracting sunlight, displaying it in different colors,” explained a TV weatherman Simon king.
The second component of color is the pink hue of the event, arises from the fact that the sun closer to the horizon the lights have to pass through a much thicker layer of atmosphere. As a result the colors with shorter wavelengths – violet, blue, and green fading out and stronger, and people only see pink and red that give the rainbow pink color.
