The security service of Ukraine said about the impending assassination attempt on President Petro Poroshenko during his visit to the plant. On Monday, October 23, reported in a press-the SBU center.
“The security officers disarmed a group of persons who were preparing an attempt on the President of Ukraine. Two of the members of the group during the detention, was liquidated”, – reported in SBU.
Two members of the group during detention eliminated. At itself at them was a sniper rifle Steyr-Manlicher sniper rifle, a Makarov pistol with two magazines, two rocket-propelled grenades, two hand grenades and three RGD-2 with a fuse.
The SBU also said that the person participated in the riots in Kiev. The investigation into this case continues.
