Residents of the village of Kytyl-Zhura in Yakutia gathered the money and began to build a new hospital, not waiting for help from the state.
Kytyl-Gurinsky hospital, which served three villages, completely burned down in August 2017. The institution was temporarily housed in the hostel building.
To match those standards to retain their status of urban hospitals and hospital beds, it was necessary to expand the area of the clinic. Part of the money for the construction managed to raise at a charity concert. These funds — 180 thousand rubles — went to buy lumber and roofing. Local MP paid for lumber for 700 thousand and promised to buy more drywall, doors and Windows.
“Build the hospital on their own, the men of the village supplied free box, women — caulk. Recently completed roof, will begin the supply of electricity and heating systems. Remain internal the work for which the necessary funds from the Central ulus hospital and Ministry of health of the Republic”, — said the head of the settlement Veronica lotova. Tentatively, the building will be completed by the autumn.
