The basement in apartment buildings flooded to the brim. Before the inhabitants of the house there was a small pantry now – only a stinking lake.
“I have a chronic runny nose. Once somewhere in other place, me, I’m sorry, there is a cold, home – permanently. I have cloth not dry,” complained a resident of the Dnieper Vladislav Bojchenko.
Pestering the residents of the flats, and mosquitoes, and are not translated even in the winter. The Council say that the basement was flooded due to the fact that a clogged yard drain.
“Dneprovodokanal knows about this problem. Constantly clogged yard drains, then the water and the feces do not go into the basement,” explained the Director of KP “Housing Samara region” Sergey phifer.
The utilities now establish the cause of the flooding – I assume that the cause of the flooding could be ground water, because the area is located below the level of the Dnieper. The Department assured that it would conduct additional testing and to resolve the situation.
