In the remake of “American werewolf” will be a cameo from the actors from the original

Unless, of course, such a film generally will be removed…

In August a colleague of Felix Kriventsov wrote that the remake “an American werewolf in London” is on the way, however, in my opinion, it was a little too hasty with such rhetoric. The film is indeed being developed, but so far we haven’t heard about any specific agreements. We only know that Max Landis, the son of the Landis, wrote the script and wants to direct the picture. Dude is a big fan to pull the tongue (he and his podcast is available for this purpose), but on this project he says cautiously, not giving any promises.

Anyway, Max recently spoke with fans at New York Comic Con and in that event, admitted that he prepared a lot for the cameo of the actors from the original “American werewolf in London”:

Griffin Dunne… and how about Jenny Agutter? Come on, Jenny burns now. She appeared in the film “the First avenger: the Other war”. I was in awe of this! Yes, we have the perfect cameo for everyone!

But as I already explained above, Landis still not sure that he will realize his dreams. However, he does not lose optimism.

There is no guarantee that a film will do, but I’m very excited about this. I’m not going to remake “an American werewolf in London” into something else. All I want to do is make the original more modern, that’s all. I mean, it’s not “Psycho” by Gus van Sant. There will be something from me, but if that happens, I hope that will be good.
I will do my best to make it work the best way.

Well, it would be nice if the guy really nailed it. The benefit of Landis happy with their script (“Chronicle”, “My boyfriend – killer”, “Victor Frankenstein”), and he created the TV series “Detective Agency of Dirk gently” guy all on hand to wear!
