In the Netherlands, found 1.6 tons of bananas “stuffed” with cocaine

The party arrived from Costa Rica.

In boxes of bananas that arrived in the port of Rotterdam, customs officials found 1,600 pounds of cocaine.

The publication said that 1,600 kg of cocaine was discovered by customs officials in the party bananas, which came from Costa Rica. In connection with this case, police arrested 40-year-old Bulgarian, who for some time was under surveillance by law enforcement officers.

The publication notes that cocaine is among the fruits that are imported from Latin America, hiding quite often. Because fresh fruits do not stay in port long, so the possibility of careful control below.
