Today in Minsk at the meeting of the humanitarian sub-group will discuss the release of prisoners. This was announced by the special representative of Ukraine in the Tripartite contact group on peaceful settlement of the situation in the Donbas, Viktor Medvedchuk edition, ЗнайUA.
“The main issue will be the continued discussion of the proposals of the Ukrainian side, which was made on 1 September 2017, representatives of the ORDO and ORLO about the release of the detained persons according to the formula “87 on the 309″. Over the past two weeks in the negotiation process side managed to achieve considerable success: if at the last meeting representatives of the ORDO and ORLO recognized the presence of only 74 people wanted Ukraine that are held in these territories as of September 19, the Ukrainian side has ensured that the number had grown to 85 employees, and representatives of the ORDO and ORLO agreed with the arguments of the Ukrainian side about the fact that these 85 Ukrainians are withheld from them”, – said Medvedchuk.
According to him, today the Ukrainian side is looking for just 147 people, missing – 410.
