The tragedy happened during guard duty in one of military units of Lviv region.
Yesterday, September 14, at about 23:00 near the village Niuhu stryis’kyi district, a soldier, according to preliminary data, committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest. This became known from the message of Igor Zinkevych on his page in Facebook.
In the message of the Deputy of the Lviv city Council said: “In the room of the guard, a soldier, at the first signs of the investigation, committed suicide by a shot from firearms in the chest, from the words of the soldier was at that time serving in the guard for the protection of warehouses, petroleum products (fuels and lubricants)”.
Currently law enforcement officers conduct the necessary activities to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident.
