The last document is dated 1951, which suggests that the archives have been buried for 66 years.
Among the materials there are valuable information about the activities of the Ukrainian underground in the years 1948-1951, there are a lot of publications and for the first time found children’s magazine, which issued in the ‘ 40s the Ukrainian underground.
Among the findings first found and transferred to the Museum a few rooms underground illustrated children’s magazine “Small friends”, 1948 edition. Verses for children, short stories, puzzles, and even games, but of historical content, written for the perception of the child. Ukrainian underground in 1950, took care of the education of the youth and gave “Guidance to the parents in the upbringing of children”, about how to protect the mind and the mind of the child from the influence of Soviet propaganda, both from the press and from school, kindergarten.
Among the found materials there are many works of the then contemporary about Ukraine, history, such as the reprint of the magazine “Revolutionary advocate” (1949), the written comments of some of the referents of propaganda. Also found the satirical magazine “Fuck”, but regional character, as evidenced by the cover.
