As reported in the press service of the police of the Luhansk region yesterday, October 4, in Severodonetsk during the inspection of documents has occurred assaulting a police officer. The victim was hospitalized.
“About SOSH №15 when you try to check the documents of men, similar in appearance to the citizen who is wanted, the latter struck him several blows with a knife in the stomach and thigh, then fled the scene. Was immediately put into effect a plan “Interception”. Within the hour police officers been located, and carried out detention of a suspect. This has convicted 29-year-old citizen of Georgia, who was wanted on suspicion of committing a criminal offense associated with unlawful drug trafficking, – said the Agency.
The assailant was arrested. Now he faces a term of nine years to life imprisonment. Police 23 years, he for four years working in law enforcement. At the moment he was operated on and the man is intensive care, but his life is not in danger.
