Recently at a private animal Park near Kiev was a significant event – parents were giraffes Marie and Nikolai Stepanovich. The light appeared a beautiful creature – giraftar Vito. This was announced by the zoo owner Mikhail Pinchuk on his page in Facebook.
His father was in the Kyiv region in 2015. As soon as he bit his sea legs, it became clear that he was bored. The owners of the zoo, went to Germany to search for Nikolai Stepanovich friend. And after three months on Kiev has already arrived the lovely Marie.
After a one time head of the Department of ungulates zoo Sergei Burch noticed that Marie was in position, but first no one believed it over and specialist ungulates laughed all year (it should be noted that the giraffe pregnancy lasts fifteen months). And so came the day when the light appeared Vitaly – the fruit of love Marie and Nikolai Stepanovich. It should be noted that iraheta born in captivity is very rare. “Family friends” call him Vito in memory of that joyful news found the owner of the zoo in Sicily in the town of Corleone, which is known as the cradle of many legendary mobsters.
At birth Vito flopped on the hay with a height of half a meter (such a blow does not hurt giratina, as it pushes for its first independent breath), and soon took his first steps.
Now acne a month and a half, his height reached two meters, and he confidently runs. And most importantly – ready to receive guests.
