In the Kremlin have started talking about the threat to Russia from North Korea

Moscow more than others interested in resolving the North Korean crisis, Peskov said

Nuclear program of North Korea is a threat to Russia, as it is close to the Russian borders. This was stated press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

“Many countries, including the United States carry this discussion remotely — the US is many thousands of kilometers from the Korean Peninsula. However, everything that happens on the Korean Peninsula occurs in the vicinity of Russia’s borders. Therefore, we are not less and perhaps more than others are concerned about how the events will develop”, – said Peskov.

He noted that the decision of the North Korean crisis should be peaceful and diplomatic means.

“And we are not less and may be more interested in the fact that the situation was resolved and solely by politico-diplomatic means, as was said by the President of Russia”, – said the press Secretary of the Russian leader.

As reported earlier today, North Korea announced the successful test of a hydrogen warhead, which is designed to equip Intercontinental ballistic missiles.
