In the Kherson region because of the storm the ship with tourists stranded

In the Kherson region near the island Dzharylgach near Skadovsk because of the storm in the sea got stuck about 200 campers. About this Facebook said one of the campers Natalia Makienko, which is located on the island.

According to her, the campers decided the ship will depart for the island approximately an hour’s travel from the mainland. In the end, a storm picked up and near the island of tourists stranded. Shore remained 50 meters, so it was impossible to go.

Later Natalia Makienko added that their daughter was taken off the ship two hours later a small boat and, like other tourists, zapravili to the island, despite the big waves.

According to Odessa edition of “Duma”, about 300 people remained on the island Dzharylgach because of the strong wind, they could not get to the mainland. Because of the wind, the water level Dzharylgachskogo Bay fell one meter. In such conditions boats OM 103 OM 104 stranded and could not take people back.

Border security and patrol and rescue service tried to move the people before nightfall.

Later Natalia Makienko in Facebook reported that tourists still arrived on the mainland.

“We are alive and we are finally home,” she wrote.
