In Ulyanovsk, the birthplace of Vladimir Lenin, offered to sell the mummy of the leader of the Americans. This initiative was made by the scientist-theologian, the Professor of the Ulyanovsk state University Sergey Petrov, after the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has suggested to take out Lenin from the mausoleum on red square and buried.

A few years ago the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov has suggested to bring in Ulyanovsk all existing monuments to the leader and to organize a Museum under the open sky. “If the name of Lenin will bring us benefit in social and economic projects, I am willing to collect from all over Russia, all the monuments to Vladimir Ilyich, and set them here,” said the head of the region. The then mayor of Ulyanovsk Sergey Ermakov went even further: “If Moscow suddenly decides to abandon the Mausoleum, it brick by brick will be transported to Ulyanovsk, which will gladly take this gift.”
