The fans travelled the length and breadth of the video game can surprise you after years after its release. A colorful example is a recently discovered Resident Evil 4 Easter eggs that were not previously noticed for already twelve years old!
This time its surprises reveals first game of the cult series Silent Hill. It would seem that it is still possible to hide from the fans of this franchise who sort through almost every gesture and every yawn of characters, identifying in them a symbolic interpretation? But the gamer with the nickname roocker666 rummaged in the working file version of the game for the Sony PlayStation and, to his amazement, found as many as six previously unknown monsters. Maybe it’s just the graphics experiments of the developers, but let’s look at each monster carefully.
The first monster was hiding in a file called FRG, which is clearly short for “frog” – a frog. And Yes, he really looks like a big frog. Neither head nor muzzle the creature is not seen, only the long limbs and flexible body. It is possible that the FRG became the prototype of the enemy, known as the Hanged Scratcher, which can be found the main character Harry Mason in the sewers.
The second file keeps a miracle under the name MKY – reminiscent of a big, dumb, balding APE. Perhaps this creature could not be included in the game, because it has enough differences from existing in the story monsters.
The real surprise was the opening of the file OST. There the researcher was expecting a thing similar to a headless ostrich, and quite large. Surely this enemy would be hard to beat!
But it is creating quite a recognizable BTFY looks like a huge butterfly (or moth). Here it is really a pity that the creature was not liked by the developers – in the world of silent hill, it would look quite yourself organically.
To describe the shape of the monster from file SNK complicated. It is similar whether on a snake, or a giant tongue with a huge stinger, which is a monster, apparently, and eats (drinks blood?). Is a nasty creation that can be understood already from the screenshot.
And the last hidden in the game directory creatures – El, is a toothed rays. Let the center of silent hill is a large lake Toluca, the developers never really go into the subject of sea monsters, so it looks quite irregular. But the game fits doubtful.
And what of these creatures, in your opinion, was the perfect complement would be a cult game?
