Today approved new rules for checks at the border.
The European Union on Monday approved new rules, according to which the border guards will register the entry, exit and refusal of entry to citizens of countries that are not members of the EU, crossing the external borders of the Schengen area.
This plan, also known as the system of entry and exit were created in order to track down people who exceed the period of stay on the territory of the country, established by visa, and improve the fight against terrorism. The new system will work in 2020, the newspaper notes.
