Russian deputies decided to introduce patents for rental housing in the Crimea. This will apply not only to rental apartments, but also rooms, which rented beds. For a room up to 15 square meters want to take at 12 rubles per square, and for large-sized apartments – for 20 rubles.
Experts believe that such innovations vacation in the Crimea can become even more expensive.
According to “the Independent newspaper” which refers to the Chairman of the Committee on sanatorium-resort complex of the state Council of Crimea Alexey Chernyak, the patents for the rental of a certain number of square meters is introduced as an alternative to the registration of landlords as private entrepreneurs.
The Chairman of the Committee in this case said that in the Crimea, accommodation services for tourists have a 20 thousand private houses, 18 thousand owners of apartments and 4.5 thousand mini-hotels. Only a small part of them officially registered, from which suffers the region’s budget. The official said that patenting as means of taxation much simpler for small business than registering as an individual entrepreneur.
Crimean authorities have already prepared a draft Federal law that provides for patents only on the territory of the Republic. In the future, patents can be introduced throughout the country. A new system of taxation will be able to choose those who rent housing, but has not registered as an individual entrepreneur. At the same leased space shall not exceed 150 square metres.
Currently, the investor must pay the tax to incomes of physical persons 13%. Not registered as individual entrepreneurs to pay a tax rate of 6%, and in the Crimea and Sevastopol it is 4%. Only 5-10% of landlords legalized and pay taxes.
