Prisoners of the Kaliningrad colony N8 has attempted suicide by slashing his wrists. Thus, they protested against the beatings by the guards. Information about the incident appeared in the beginning of September on social media and on the website Gulagu.net in the “Open letter”. The authors of the appeal without a signature described in detail how eight people cut their veins “in the desperate hope to attract the attention of regulatory and Supervisory agencies.”
