In the Chernobyl zone will build a solar power station

The government has already received 50 bids from investors.

Investment in solar energy in the exclusion zone will be successful and will contribute to energy independence of Ukraine.

“We recently celebrated the sad anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy. Today we are working on how to use the Chernobyl area. One idea is to install solar panels,” he wrote, Groisman.

“According to the Minister of the environment, electricity will be produced within 2.5 thousand MW. Investors already have – we received 50 applications. I am confident that these investments will be successful and it will also be a contribution to our energy independence,” – said the Prime Minister.
