On Friday afternoon a fire occurred in the warehouse with the tires in Sumy. From different areas of the city were visible black smoke. The incident occurred on the street of Ivan Piddubny (formerly Vojvodina).

As informs a press-service gschs, the fire was reported by a bystander who found a strong smoke. Firefighters who arrived on the scene, found that burned secondary raw material, namely waste oil, rubber products and medical supplies.
“Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the nearby depot, where stood a diesel engine fueled 4 tones of diesel fuel. Another locomotive was towed by employees before the arrival of firefighters,” — said in the message.
The fire was liquidated at 17:07.
Only by extinguishing the fire were involved 13 personnel and 4 units of special equipment.
