For the first time in history, the inhabitants of Strasbourg will be able to appreciate the works of Ukrainian filmmakers.
The permanent mission of Ukraine to the Council of Europe and the State Agency of Ukraine for cinema in cooperation with the municipality of Strasbourg has organized the first week of Ukrainian cinema in the capital of the Alsace region (France) “Focus on Ukraine – Focus sur l’ukraine”. Screenings will be held 6-14 October 2017 in one of the oldest cinemas in Europe “Odysseus” and the cinema hall of the Palace of Europe.
Residents of Strasbourg, diplomats 47 member States of the Council of Europe, Secretariat staff and Council of Europe bodies and institutions of the European Union will be able to watch the movies “Alien prayer” by Akhtem Seitablaev; “Red” Zaza, Bulaja, “Guard Outpost” Yuri Kovalev “Native” Vitaly Mansky and a selection of short films.
