In Sochi set the record for mass descent from the mountain in swimwear

It took part 1008 skiers and snowboarders.

The official representative of the headquarters of the Guinness Book of world records in London on Monday, 20 February, confirmed installed at the resort “Rosa Khutor” on April 9, 2016 the record for mass descent from the mountain in swimwear. That day had taken place in bathing suits in the framework of the Alpine carnival BoogelWoogel, which was attended by 1008 skiers and snowboarders.

From 30 March to 2 April 2017 at “Rosa Khutor” will be held again carnival BoogelWoogel, in which April 1 is planned to install two more Guinness world records. The first one on the largest ski orchestra, the second — mass slope of the mountain in swimwear, where the organizers expect to beat last year’s result.

“We hope that BoogelWoogel-2017 will bring together more than 20 thousand lovers of snow recreation. We plan to increase the number of festival venues of the carnival twice. For example, you will see a beach volleyball tournament on the snow, school fun run Andrey Bocharov and snow dance battle, and musical open‑air concert by the band “Mgzavrebi” Georgia”, ” — said the organizer of the festival, Director of creative Bureau “ENVIRO” Nikita Girin.

Entrance to the carnival BoogelWoogel will be free.
