State of emergency introduced throughout the territory of the Siberian Federal district due to fires, said the head EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov.
“From 17.00 today we are introducing a state of emergency for all management bodies and forces of the Unified Russian system of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations on the territory of the Siberian Federal district”, – said Puchkov at the meeting of the state Commission on Friday.
Earlier, emergency mode was introduced in the Irkutsk region.
As reported by the head of the Center for crisis management (EMERCOM) of the Ministry of emergency situations Viktor Azucena, on-site TRK districts of the Irkutsk region and one district of the Republic of Buryatia on April 28, the result of careless handling of fire fires spread to homes and buildings in five settlements in which in total destroyed 78 private houses and a village shop.
In addition, earlier in the MOE reported that in Zabaykalsky Krai in the course of the day the total area of forest fires has increased almost three times – up to 643 hectares.
