“Deputies Yuri Svitkin (United Russia), Oleg Nikolaev (“Fair Russia”) and Alexander Yushchenko (CPRF) proposes to tighten the supervision on the Internet. On Friday, 29 September, they submitted to the state Duma amendments to the law “On information, information technologies and about information protection”, – stated in the message.
The amendments give the Prosecutor General the powers without court to block undesirable sites, according to authors of amendments, the content.
“This appeals to mass riots, implementation of extremist activity and participation in mass events held with violation of the law, said the bill”, – writes the edition.
Also under the accelerated procedure it will be possible to block sites for the dissemination of materials banned in Russia non-profit organizations.
For blocking of the website of the Prosecutor’s office will just send the request to the Roskomnadzor, which will fulfill this decision. Unlock procedure sites in the document are not spelled out.
Now how to lock resources in Russia provides for the court’s decision that, in the opinion of the deputies, too long and difficult.
