In Russia want to impose a tax on cryptocurrency

Putin instructed to develop a procedure for taxation of the companies engaged in mining.

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government and the Bank of Russia to develop the procedure for the taxation and registration of companies involved in mining.

“The government of Russia jointly with the Bank of Russia to ensure payment to the Russian legislation changes, aimed at establishing requirements to organization and implementation of production based on the principles of cryptography in a distributed environment registries (“mining”), including the registration of business entities engaged in such activities, as well as the definition of the procedure of taxation”, – said in the order.

Earlier it was reported that Putin ordered the government and the Bank of Russia before July 1, 2018 to prepare amendments to legislation governing the placement of cryptocurrency.
