In Russia, there are mass detentions at rallies in support of Navalny

The detentions started in Moscow

In particular, in Yekaterinburg at the rally in support of Alexei Navalny, the police detained 24 people. This was announced by the mayor Yevgeny Roizman.

Roizman said that the actions of the police considers it “completely redundant”. According to him, the event brought together “a lot of people,” among whom were those who “don’t have to Bulk irrelevant”.

Also, as reported by Interfax, the detention began to rally in Moscow. Law enforcement officers began to arrest people who came to Pushkin square with the flyers. In the center of the square are the police cars, paddy wagons, armored cars “Tiger” and dozens of law enforcement officers. Note that observers reported that in Pushkin square in Central Moscow near the monument to Pushkin had gathered a few dozen people, and journalists.

Supporters of Alexei Navalny, today held demonstrations and pickets demanding to allow a politician to participate in the presidential elections. Note also that the current President of Russia Vladimir Putin celebrates his 65th birthday.
