The driver two days later died in hospital.
A cyclist from the Bryansk region is accused of having beaten to death the driver of the car that nearly crushed him on the road. On Wednesday, November 1, according to the regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
According to investigators, in the yard of one of houses of the city Novoselovka 28-year-old defendant during a quarrel beat not previously familiar to 35-year-old man, who two days later died in hospital from inflicted head injuries. According to defendant, the altercation occurred because of the situation on the road.
“The defendant in a criminal case asserts that when riding a bike, was nearly knocked flying next to the car under the control of the victim. After a short time he severely punished the driver for a dangerous manoeuvre”, — stated in the message.
In fact the incident a criminal case was initiated under part 4 of article 111 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Deliberate causing of heavy harm to health, entailed on imprudence death of the person”). The accused is in custody.
