November 18 in the Russian city of St. Petersburg activists held pickets in support of the Crimean Tatars and against repression in the occupied Peninsula.

The footage shows that the activists went to picket with the national flag of the Crimean Tatars and posters calling for the cessation of repression against the Crimean Tatars and the cancellation of the ban on the activities of the Majlis.
Note that some of the participants recalled also about Ukraine. In particular, one of the posters was written: “Through suffering of the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians, the former resort of the Crimea becomes a military base”, writes “Radio Freedom”.
In addition, the protesters called for the release of Ukrainian Director Oleg Sentsov and a boycott of the world Cup scheduled to be held in Russia in 2018.
