Director of the Tomsk cadet corps Vladimir Brykov fired after pupils complained about the presence in the mess of maggots.
According to the head of General education Department of Tomsk oblast Irina, Grabtsevich, he wrote a letter of resignation.
“This is a very serious infringement. The first duty of the leader to organize the process of life support in the establishment stay around the clock. We are also seeing a violation of the Deputy Director on administrative-economic part, which was to personally supervise the food preparation and quality,” said Grabtsevich.
On 7 September, the cadets for the fourth time in a few days found maggots in the cereal and went on hunger strike. Parents told reporters that “fighting with food” last year.
