In Russia, opposition politician Alexei Navalny arrested until Monday morning, March 27. This was reported by his press Secretary, Kira Yarmish in his Twitter on Sunday, March 26.
As explained in the police, Navalny intends to prosecute for violation of order of carrying out the demonstration.
The oppositionist was detained on Triumfalnaya square in the course of participation in anti-corruption rally, the organizer of which is headed by Navalny Fund of struggle against corruption (FBK).
In Moscow detained several hundreds of protesters against corruption. The reason for the action was the lack of reaction from the authorities on the results of the investigation about the corruption schemes, established by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
