In Russia may ban foreign social networks

The Russian law on foreign agents can be added not only close to foreign media, and foreign social networks.

About this stated the head of the faction “United Russia” Sergei Neverov.

“Will be able to examine further the mechanisms that it was, perhaps, a broader measure of the impact, including, including social networks and other structures which currently operate on the territory of the Russian Federation”, — said Neverov to journalists on Friday.

Earlier it was reported, the state Duma of the Russian Federation prepare a package of measures for the protection from the interference American media in the internal Affairs of Russia, namely to impose restrictions on us media in Russia.

This decision will be a response to US actions against Russian TV channel Russia Today that the U.S. justice Department is obliged to register in the registry of foreign agents.
