In Russia increased the number of millionaires

The number of currency millionaires in the country reached 182 thousand.

In Russia by the end of 2016 the number of dollar millionaires increased by about 20%. These data are presented in the research World Wealth Report 2017 by the international consulting company Capgemini.

“Russia has increased both the population and their wealth by about 20% and is the fastest growing of all markets after a modest decline a year earlier,” the report says.

At the end of last year in Russia has 182 000 dollar millionaires.

In General, the number of people in the world whose income exceeded a million dollars, grew by 7.5% compared to 2015 year, to 16.5 million. Their combined wealth increased by 8.2% and amounted to 63.5 trillion dollars.

The total wealth of millionaires in 2025 could rise to 100 trillion dollars.

The largest number of dollar millionaires in the world are US: there are 4,795 million people. In second place is Japan from 2.89 million millionaires, the third position is Germany, where the number of millionaires has reached 1.28 million people.
