In Russia increased the limit of the ads on TV

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has approved amendments to the law on advertising, which increases a limit of the ads on the TV and allow it in children’s programs.

According to the text of the law, the limit of the ads on television increased from 15% of broadcasting time to 20%, this sets a limit of 15% of broadcasting time during the day.

The document States that in children’s television, not allowed advertising of certain goods.

“The restriction does not apply to sponsored advertising, excluding sponsorship advertising of alcohol products, military products and weapons, gambling, betting, services on contract rents, including the contract of life maintenance of a dependent, the activities of mediators providing mediation procedure”, — stated in the law.

The law comes into force from the day of its official publication.
