In Moscow announced the successful test of an Intercontinental ballistic missile. It was launched in the Astrakhan region and hit the target in Kazakhstan.
The Russian defense Ministry reported a test launch of the missile troops of the Russian army on Tuesday, 26 September, Intercontinental ballistic missile RS-12M “Topol”.
According to Moscow, the test was conducted in the Astrakhan region, the training warhead missiles with a given accuracy struck conditional goal at the site “Sary-Shagan” in Kazakhstan.
In the Russian defense Ministry said that the aim of the launch was to test promising combat equipment for Intercontinental missiles.
Meanwhile in Siberia on September 26 began the exercises of the strategic missile forces of the Russian army, equipped with the missile complexes “YARS”, the Agency “Interfax-AVN”. They involved more than four thousand soldiers and about 400 units.
