In the night from 5 for November 6 Makarov and the suspect was drinking in a private home. Between men there was a conflict in which the world champion in kickboxing died from his injuries.
November 17, Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a murder case Makarova in connection with his disappearance. The message about the missing athlete was received from his relatives on November 13. Eight days before November 5, kickboxer came out of the house and since then his whereabouts was not known.
Makarov was the Chairman of the local non-profit communities SaTaL, have accumulated record debt to “Yakutskenergo”, — 4.7 million rubles. The villagers consider themselves to be victims of fraud on the part of the administration.
