In Russia died businessman Artyom Tarasov, who was one of the pioneers of cooperative during perestroika in the USSR in the late 1980-ies. He was 67 years old.
The Correspondent reports about it with reference to the press-Secretary of the party “Yabloko” Igor Yakovlev. In 2016 Tarasov made by the candidate in deputies of the state Duma from this party.
“Artyom Tarasov, who was our candidate in the elections to the state Duma, passed away. This, I was told his personal assistant,” wrote Yakovlev in Facebook.
While the cause of death he did not elaborate.
Tarasov is one of the first Soviet co-operators, his company was registered under number 10 in 1987.
Tarasov declared himself the first legal millionaire in the USSR – according to media reports, from the profits of the cooperative in 1989 he was paid a salary of 3 million rubles, with which he paid partsno the Communist party in the amount of 3 percent.
