Violinist Dmitry Kogan died at the age of 38.
The Russian violinist Dmitry Kogan died from cancer.
This was reported by his assistant Jeanne Prokofiev.
At the time of death of the musician was 38 years old.
The violinist was buried on 2 September at the cemetery Troekurov, reported on its official website.
Cogan has performed in concert halls of Europe, Asia, America, Australia, Middle East countries. In 2010, he received the title of honored artist of the Russian Federation.
With 2014 Kogan worked as the artistic Director of the orchestra “Moscow Camerata”.
